This was great!

But at the same time confusing. At times, the Clock Crew really does seem like a plot to get cheap votes and spam NewGrounds with horrible crap, but then every once in awhile an awesome animation like this shows up from them. This had awesome sound, animation, and graphics. (Not so much story) You should feel proud for helping partially clear their name. NOW I'M EXPECTING THINGS LIKE THIS COMING FROM CLOCK CREW ALL THE TIME!!!

Athi responds:

^^; the last episode of this will come out soon. Hope it will lift up to your expectations.

Not really South Park...

...just The Phillip and Terrance Show from South Park. But anyways, this is cool! It is really funny, though I have to ask how you got that song onto Flash, cause I have tried getting a song into Flash but I cant because Itunes wont allow that. Do you have to go out and buy the CD to put the song in?

TITROTU responds:

I rip the music from my CD to my computer using Windows Media Player. Then I import the song into Flash.

yah know...

not doing FBF doesn't make you LAZY. In fact, Xombie is not FBF, and it is GREAT!
This was good, but not doing FBF DOESN'T MAKE YOU LAZY! Flash was made so you didn't have to do FBF all the time. If you really want to do good FBF, it pains me to say it, but the best program for FBF is not Flash, it is a neat program called FlipBook. Thay are even using that to do the Simpsons movie. So, if you are wantin a grand variety of neat styles, use Flash. But for GOOD FBF, USE FLIPBOOK. Trust me, it is 10X easier to use it. It keeps file sizes nice, and can export to tons of different formats. But Flash can do very many styles, and flipbook is just an advanced flipbook. So, to finally end, it was pretty good, so just improve the graphics a bit more and you'll do fine.

Snubby responds:

my fbf animations take a lot longer

That was neat...

That is THE single most original thing I have seen on Newgrounds yet. I applaude you.

StupidDream responds:

Really? Most people keep calling it cliche. I can see what they mean, it doesn't take much to make this kind of story, about two friends standing up against others.

This might solve some of the mystery. The reason why I went with this story was after my last animation, I felt I had already done a movie about someone who gets one friend, how one friend can have an impact on your life, right? So, what's the next step?

You'll never guess how many friends are in my next animation.

That was hilarious!

Don't listen to him, he's dead! That was so incredibly original! I loved it. I have NO suggestions!
Keep at it like this.

Oggy-cheese responds:

Thanks a lot! Glad you enjoyed it, and that you have no suggestions because this is the finished product!

That was great!

I loved that! It was a good animation, and had some humor in it. I feel for the dad in the beginning. My parents made me record my sisters' 2 hour dance recital. That was very good style, yet the only thing I suggest is spiffying up the graphics a wee bit. Unless it is meant to be kinda messy, 'cause then, the graphics wouldn't matter as much. My tip is to keep all characters at the same graphic quality.

Foreverland responds:

Ouch, your arm must've gotten sore.

The graphics aren't intentionally messy, but it sort of became the style a little bit, if that makes any sense. I can certainly draw better, and work on the characters a lot to make better joints and stuff. But at the same time, I'd rather just animate them, and do what I can with limited symbols.

Thank god you didn't use sprites...

I am very glad that the past few decent LOZ animations have not been sprites. Sprites really downgrade the overall quality of the peice, unless you do it pixel perfect like Super Mario Bro's Z and Rise of Mushroom kingdom. There are a few others but those are the best. Well, I have completely thrown this review off the course of this particular animation, but to finally finish, I have to say it was a really good animation, with some good humor. (BTW: I have seen this joke the other way around with Mario saving Zelda)

cheftorte responds:

Yes, I've gotten a few comments from people reminding me of a similar joke in other things, but to this I was not aware.

I remember this...

I remember seeing that first one when it came out! I reviewed that one as well! This style is GREAT!!! I wish I could give you style above 10, but alas! But, the sound could've used some work.

NoComicsComics responds:

Alas, it is true, the sound is quite bad, but fear not, as that is soon about to change! Hehe, thanks for the review, I'm glad to see someone watch this who saw Ep. 1 first. Also glad you liked the style. I think I will be buying a new mic, so Ep. 3 will have much better sound, along with another small improvement, which shall not be revealed at this time. It's nothing big, but still it's something to look forward to. Stay tuned!

If I told you who I was, you'd find 12 men in suits at your door in 3 hours.
